Best Ways to Destress from Work

Work can be stressful and while you may want to make a change, that can take time. What can you do at work or after work to manage stress and recharge your batteries?

Take breaks at work. Make sure you take lunch. If you can, eat in a different environment, such as outside or even in your car. Go out to get food from time to time. If you have to eat at your desk, play some music or call a friend.

Plan something fun with your friends, family, or on your own. Make weekend plans to do something fun or a task you've been meaning to do. Make sure to use Sunday even as a way to have fun or relax instead of thinking of what you have to do at work Monday morning.

Plan time each day to de-stress and relax after work. Make sure you do something you enjoy each day and have time to yourself, even if it is only for a few moments. Engage in a hobby you used to love, watch a funny video, or try a new activity. The more creative the better!
